Any valuation given from a description, a photograph or a telephone conversation is an indicative estimate. It is a considered opinion of what a part is likely to be worth, not a guaranteed price, and it is not a contractual offer.
A firm offer is made only after a part has been inspected in person. Condition, completeness, originality and identity are difficult to judge from images, and an in-person inspection can move a figure in either direction.
Valuations Are Opinions, Not Appraisals
Our figures reflect what Altrixa Managed LLC is willing to pay for a part for its own stock. They are not independent appraisals, they are not certified valuations, and they should not be relied on for insurance, taxation, probate, dispute resolution or any other purpose requiring a formal appraisal. If you need a certified valuation, engage a qualified independent appraiser.
An offer we make is also not a statement of what a part would fetch in a private sale, at auction, or through a marketplace listing. Those routes carry different fees, timescales and risks.
Market Conditions Change
Parts values move with supply, demand, model popularity, regulation and the wider market. A figure that was accurate when it was given may not hold weeks later, and estimates may be revised or withdrawn if conditions change before a part is inspected.
