altrixamanaged.com is operated by Altrixa Managed LLC. This policy covers this website and the enquiries sent through it, and does not cover any external website you reach by following a link from here.
Information We Collect
Personal Information
We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us. In practice that means:
- Enquiry details you submit — your name, telephone number, email address, chosen subject and message, when you write to us or use the form on the home page or our contact page.
- Photographs of parts — any images you attach so a part can be valued. Please crop or exclude number plates, VIN plates and anything else identifying that you would rather not send.
- Correspondence — the content of emails and any follow-up exchange, kept so we can answer you and keep a record of the valuation.
We do not ask for, and this website has no facility to take, payment card details, government identifiers, health information or account credentials. Please do not send them to us.
Non-Personal Information
Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically receive limited technical information when a page loads:
- IP address (often truncated or anonymised by the analytics provider), and general region derived from it
- Browser type and version, operating system, and device category
- Pages viewed, time on page, and the referring page or search term where the browser supplies it
- Date and time of the visit, and server log entries kept for security and diagnostics
This information is used in aggregate. We do not attempt to use it to identify an individual visitor.
How We Use Information
- To value the parts you ask us about and to respond to your enquiry
- To keep a record of estimates given and transactions completed
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot the website
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site's pages perform
- To meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are used in California law. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. This site carries no advertising and no paid product placement.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses a small number of them:
- Strictly necessary — including the record of your cookie banner choice, so we do not ask again on every page. This is stored locally in your browser.
- Analytics — to count visits and understand which pages are used. These are set only where you have accepted non-essential cookies.
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, and browsers offer a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal; where we receive a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as a valid opt-out request. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may mean the banner reappears on each visit.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of providers to run this site, and they process limited information on our behalf:
- Web hosting and content delivery — to serve pages and maintain server logs
- Analytics — to produce aggregate readership statistics, where accepted
- Email — to receive and reply to your correspondence
These providers are permitted to use information only for the purpose of providing their service to us. Once you follow a link to an external site, that site's own practices apply.
Data Retention
Enquiries, photographs and their associated contact details are kept for as long as needed to complete the valuation and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping — generally no more than 24 months — unless a longer period is legally required. Records of completed purchases are kept for the period required by tax and trading law. Server logs are kept for a short operational period. Aggregate, non-identifying analytics may be retained indefinitely. Records of privacy requests are kept as long as necessary to demonstrate compliance.
Data Security
The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, access to correspondence is limited to people who need it, and our providers are selected on the basis of their own security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take these steps seriously we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information through the contact form.
Children's Privacy (Under 13)
This website is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your US Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident — and, as a matter of policy, if you are a resident of any US state with comparable legislation — you have the following rights:
Right to Know
You may ask what categories of personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and with which categories of provider it has been shared.
Right to Delete
You may ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to the exceptions the law allows — for example where we must retain a purchase record to comply with a legal obligation.
Right to Correct
You may ask us to correct personal information you believe is inaccurate.
Right to Opt-Out
You may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law, so there is nothing to opt out of — but you may still submit the request, and we will confirm our position in writing. You may also decline non-essential cookies at any time using the banner or your browser settings.
Non-Discrimination
We will not deny you access to this website, degrade its quality, alter an offer, or treat you differently in any way because you exercised a privacy right.
How to Submit Privacy Requests
Send your request by email to contact@altrixamanaged.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”, or write to Altrixa Managed LLC, 300 S Orange Ave, Suite 1000, Orlando, FL 32801, United States. You may also telephone +1-407-555-1234.
Please tell us which right you are exercising and include enough information for us to locate the relevant records. We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days, extending once by a further 45 days where a request is complex — we will tell you if that happens. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.
Changes to This Policy
We update this policy when our practices or our providers change. Updates are published on this page with a revised date at the top. Where a change is significant, we will make it prominent on the website.
